Contracts:-

Our demolition department is currently undertaking a second contract for the Ministry of Defence in Hounslow; this involves asbestos removal and demolition of the original guardroom for this establishment. We are very pleased to be able to continue our association in carrying out projects of this nature for the MOD.

Gasworks Lane

Our Groundworks division has secured a contract with Ringway Infrastructure Services at Gasworks Lane in Ashford to provide car parks and bases for a new stores building for Southern Gas Networks Plc. This is a 10-week contract and is due for completion at the end of May, 2010.

Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway

Our groundwork department has recently carried out a ‘bridge replacement over water’ for the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway. We were particularly pleased to be awarded this contract and be involved with the continued upkeep of this major tourist attraction in the South East. This contract was particularly complex due to the regulations surrounding work on railways and was subject to a strict 3-week shutdown on the line, but even allowing for these complexities our Groundworks team excelled themselves and managed to complete the project well within the allotted rail closure time. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway for using our services and would like to wish them every success for this coming season and the future.

New Addition:-

We have just placed an order for a new specialist 13T excavator for our demolition division which is due for delivery in April. This shows our continued commitment to the demolition department after a very successful years trading.

Openings: Deal & New Romney

On Saturday 16th January opening parties were held at the Deal and Hawkinge surgeries that we have recently constructed for Pennypot Dental. The local mayor was on hand to carry out the official opening and a very pleasant day was had by everyone who attended. Allowing for very challenging conditions and poor weather at the tail end of 2009 both of these projects came in on time and opened to the first patients on Wednesday 20th January. We would once again like to take this opportunity to wish Mr. & Mrs. Patel and everyone at Pennypot Dental every success for the future.

Grand Opening:

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

Shepway MP Michael Howard conducted the opening ceremony for the building which is now open for both NHS and private patients. This contract was a 15 week programme, which came in on time despite the many variations to the original contract and is already being acclaimed as one of the best dental practices in the area by the various regulatory authorities. We would like to take this opportunity to wish Dr. & Mrs. Patel of Pennypot Dental every success with this new practice and the two others that are shortly to follow in the New Year.

Signal Box

We have been awarded a contract by Carillion Rail for the asbestos removal and demolition of the redundant signal box adjacent to the old Betteshanger Colliery.
